I’ve joined Naj’s Capcom Classic Clash project – a great retro project that, initially was made to be Final Fight vs Street Fighter and this is the main reason to have more chars from those franchishe then any other. Now its a Capcom chars games (hence the name), with some guests from another companies, to give a litte pepper …

Introduction:
Wasup! Me and a few other creators have been working on a project named Capcom Classics Clash. Basically, it’s a dream match type of game where different characters from side scrolling beat ‘em ups can fight it out. We’ll be using only Capcom games and a few little bonus characters. Each series of game will have 4-6 characters which will include there own unique boss.
Game Play:
The game play is based on SF2 and FF3. It’ll feature side scrolling beat ‘em up features and SF2’s special moves. More info below…
x = ATTACK – A move which can be used up to many times for a quick combo. Any special moved can be combo’d from this move.
y = GRAPPLE – A move which attempts to grab the enemy, on succes you turn into a grapple state and can do different attacks to the enemy.
To perform a throw on the oppenent press Attack + a direction, to attack the enemy just press Attack.
A grapple attack can be used to bump up the final damage of all the things you do in a grapple. The timer limits you from spamming grab attacks so make the most of them and then finish the enemy with a throw.
a = SUPER – This button is used for supers. You don’t press the button on it’s own to perform a super but, you press it with the characters special command to execute the super. Example: D, DF, F, SUPER.
b = SKILL – This button is used for defensive stuff like counters and air recovers. To perform a counter, just wait till the enemy attacks while your guarding and at the right time press SKILL. This will take up 500 power of the power guage.
ATTACK + SUPER = EXTRA JOY – This peforms a special move which cannot be stopped and has very very high priority.
If the move contacts then this move will deplete 200 of your life guage.

PDC Beta Released

Hello you all.
As I promissed, here is the first alpha release of PDC. As the name sugest, its an alpha version, made to be tested by a lot of people, so shits could happen ![]()
This project was stoped many times (its from 2001), but now finally it is seeing the light. As you may know, the main goal of this project is to bring forgotten people from many games, not just to be a mugen version of SVC, so you will see people from different games.








So, I would like to enjoy to you all test this game, giving me feedback of what could be better, etc. Any feedback is welcome.

But, before to post something, I would like to inform some things:
- Some clsn are big. Its intentional (i’m not a KOF accurate creator, since I don’t like KOF), and was made to add more attack range to the chars, since they are too small
- The moves are easily done by pressing just one button.
- Strikers are cool and I like they.
- It’s a closed game. The chars will works just inside this project.
- The bosses and sub-bosses will be AI, but I left them playable so people could test it.
- Keep in mind that, with some excepts like Haohmaru, Reayon, etc, this whole project was programed/adapted by me alone
Its not a easy task
Know issues:
- no simul and turn modes (because the striker bar will screw on this mode, since I haven’t fixed it)
- megaman and Lakitu has no hyper moves
- I might let some moves on when they aren`t finished.
- some big portraits aren’t on the same style
- Krang’s second form needs to be reworked, since the graphics doesn’t fit 100% the style (plus, its the only char that will be released as a normal char too).
- Krang have some issues if you hit F1 too early on the round.
- Some chars wil stay stand on the air. Its my fault but i could not fix it until the beta (I’m lazy and busy, I know).
I would like to thanx to many people that helped us…there is a credits file on the game root, and I know that I’m forgoting someone!
